About the Team:

The Program Management team is responsible for executing engineering and cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives.  This team is at the crossroads of business and technology, helping the business succeed by turning strategic objectives into reality.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Senior Technical Program Manager will focus on flawless program execution and reporting, process evolution and adherence.  We are seeking someone who is passionate about getting things done quickly and efficiently, and who isn't afraid to hold people accountable.  The ideal candidate excels at juggling multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.  While Agile methodologies will be used in the planning and execution of our technical deliverables, our overall framework is a mix of Waterfall and Agile SDLC.

What You’ll Do:

·       Drive common goals across cross-functional teams, including release coordination and dependency planning and resolution

·       Lead project planning, tracking, and reporting

·       Facilitate meetings, including (but not limited to) sprint planning, demos, grooming, and retrospectives

·       Ensure projects remain on track for completion; identify, communicate, and mitigate risks

·       Coach Product Managers, Developers, and Development Leads on effective processes and best practices

·       Utilize team and roadmap metrics to drive a continuous improvement feedback cycle

·       Gather feedback from teams and contribute to process evolution and scale

·       Configure and customize JIRA and Confluence for team needs

What You’ll Need:

·       Bachelor’s degree in technology, business administration, information systems, or similar field

·       5+ years of full SDLC project management experience

·       Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, and experience managing projects in a hybrid environment 

·       Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of highly technical, complex natures

·       Familiarity with public and private clouds, and an understanding of SaaS/PaaS and IaaS space.  Experience with AWS is preferred

·       Experience leading multiple teams towards a common goal

·       Proven ability to influence without authority

·       Ability to context switch between engineering and business projects

·       Ideally certified in program management disciplines such as Certified Scrum Master, and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute
